Raju Paints Hardware Mart

If you go near the Ambaji Dham Mandir in Mulund West, you will find our shop at Shree Lohana Maha. We have shops number 2 and 3 knocked together to hold all the paint cans and hardware supplies. It’s a bit of a squeeze inside because we try to stock everything from tiny screws to big buckets of wall paint. The dust is a constant battle, but that’s just how it is in a hardware store. We see a lot of people from the neighborhood who are fixing up their homes or workers looking for a specific tool. Being near the mandir means it’s always busy around here. We spend a lot of time mixing colors and helping people figure out what size pipe or bolt they need. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady. We know most of the faces that walk through the door. Sometimes we don’t have exactly what someone wants, so we have to order it in. The shelves are packed high. It’s a bit of a maze back there. We’ve been part of this Mulund community for quite a while now. We open up early and stay until the sun goes down. It’s just us, the paint fumes, and the sound of the bells from the temple nearby. We do our best to keep the stock full and help out whoever walks in with a project they are working on. It’s a simple life running a shop in this part of town.
