Rubys Art

Our shop is at No. 12, Badai Road in the Ambewadi area. We are very close to the railway station here in Girgaon, so you can hear the trains passing by all day long. It’s a constant rhythm that we’ve gotten used to over the years. The space we have is filled to the brim with art pieces and materials. It’s not the kind of place where everything is perfectly lined up. There’s a bit of clutter, some dust on the higher shelves, and the floor has seen better days. But it’s a real working space. We spend most of our time at the back, working on whatever project is currently on the table. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting area. If you come in, you’ll probably find us with paint on our hands or measuring out some wood. We like the neighborhood because it’s always moving. The commuters from the station often peak in through the door on their way home. We don’t do any big promotions or sales events. People come to us because they know we’ve been here for a while and we know our craft. It’s a practical, no-nonsense shop. We try to be helpful when someone has a question, but we don't use any corporate jargon. It’s just us, some art supplies, and the sound of the trains. It’s a busy, somewhat messy, but honest way to make a living. We just keep at it.
