We’ve been running Photostop in Andheri West for a long time now. It’s a small shop, but we manage to fit a lot of equipment inside. We mostly do printing and some basic photography stuff. People come in with their phones wanting to print out photos from their holidays or family gatherings. Sometimes the files are a bit blurry, and we have to tell them it won’t look great, but we try our best. It’s a busy neighborhood, so there’s always someone walking in. We have an old counter that’s a bit scratched up, but it works fine. My cousin helps me with the digital side of things because he’s faster with the computers than I am. We don't have a big corporate setup. It’s just us and our printers. Sometimes the machines act up or run out of ink at the wrong time, which is frustrating, but we deal with it. We also do passport photos, which keep us steady throughout the week. You get all sorts of people coming in for those, some happy and some looking like they’d rather be anywhere else. We just like seeing the photos people bring in. It makes the day interesting. We don't do any big ads, just a sign outside. If you're in Andheri West, you've probably walked past us. We just keep the lights on and help people with their pictures.
