Safety First

Safety First is based in the Ekta Building over in Kandivali East. We’re pretty close to Growels Mall, so the area is always packed with cars and people heading out for the day. Our space is mostly filled with racks of gear—helmets, vests, and all that kind of stuff. It’s not a very big place, so we have to stack things pretty high to make it all fit. The air usually smells a bit like rubber and new plastic because of all the equipment sitting around. We don't really do much in the way of decoration. The walls are just plain, and we have some old desks where we handle the paperwork. Most of our time is spent checking sizes and making sure we have enough stock for whoever walks in. People come to us when they need gear for their jobs, and we just show them what’s available on the shelves. It’s a very practical business. We don’t spend time on fancy talk or marketing. If a glove fits and it does the job, that’s what matters to us. Kandivali East is a busy neighborhood, and being in the Ekta Building keeps us right in the middle of everything. We start our day early, drink some coffee, and start moving boxes around. It’s just a normal job in a normal part of town. We’re here if someone needs something, simple as that.
