We are based in Room Number 22 on the ground floor. The building is in Bharatiya Kamala Nagar, which is part of the Antop Hill area. It’s on SM Road. If you’ve ever been to Antop Hill you know it’s a very crowded and lively place. Being on the ground floor is good because we don't have to climb any stairs with boxes. The room is small but we use every inch of it. We do marketing work which mostly involves a lot of phone calls and keeping track of lists. Sometimes it gets a bit loud outside with the kids playing or the vendors shouting their prices but we’ve gotten used to the noise. It’s just how Mumbai is. We have a small table for the computer and some shelves for our files. There are three of us working here. We usually eat our lunch together at the desk. The light isn't great inside so we keep the door open most of the time to let the breeze in. It’s a humble spot but it works for us. We don't need a fancy office in a glass building. We like being where the people are. It makes it easier to understand what’s going on in the market. We’ve been in this specific room for about three years now. It’s become our second home. We even know the stray cat that sleeps by our door every afternoon.
