We are located at 130 Nagdevi Street in the Masjid Bunder area, on the west side. If you know Nagdevi Street, you know it’s one of the most crowded places you can find. At Asms Agencies, we are right in the thick of it. The shop is narrow and tall, like most of the buildings around here. We have stuff stacked all the way to the ceiling because space is so hard to come by. Every morning, we open the shutters and start moving things out so we have room to breathe. It’s a lot of manual work, carrying boxes up and down the stairs. The street outside is always full of handcarts and people rushing around. It can be a bit overwhelming if you aren't used to it. We’ve been here for years, so we know all the other shopkeepers on the block. We usually grab a tea from the stall at the corner twice a day. There isn't any fancy air conditioning, just a few old ceiling fans that do their best. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. People find us because we’ve been at this address forever. It’s a gritty, busy way to work, but it keeps us on our toes. We just take the orders as they come and try to get them out the door as fast as the traffic allows. It is loud and hot, but we like it here.
