Our place is down on Rambhau Bhogale Marg, number 319 to be exact. It’s one of those old-school buildings where the walls have seen a lot of years. We make different things here, mostly small products people need for their shops. It’s a loud street, always horns honking and people rushing by outside. Inside, it’s a bit more organized, though we have boxes stacked up to the ceiling sometimes. My father started this a long time ago, and I just kept it going. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy website. Usually, people just know us from around the neighborhood. The work is repetitive, day in and day out, but it pays the bills. Sometimes the raw materials don't show up on time and we have to scramble. That’s just how it goes in this part of town. We try to keep the machines running smooth, but they’re old and need a lot of oil. Lunch is usually a quick tiffin while sitting on a stool. It's not the most glamorous job, but it feels good to see the finished products ready to go out. We just keep our heads down and work. If you walk past, you’ll hear the clinking of metal. We're just a small outfit trying to stay busy and get through the daily list of tasks without too much trouble.
