Rajesh Flowers Shop

Our shop is located at 166 in Goregaon West, right near Amit Dairy. If you know where the dairy is, you can’t miss us. It’s a straightforward little shop. We don’t have a lot of space, but we pack it full of whatever flowers are available that week. Goregaon is a lively neighborhood, and being near a landmark like the dairy helps people find us. We spend a lot of our day sitting on low stools, prepping the flowers and making sure the thorns are stripped off. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. The floor is usually covered in discarded leaves by midday, and we sweep it up when things quiet down. We get all sorts of customers. Some are just looking for a cheap bunch of flowers to put on their table, and others want something more specific for a ceremony. We don’t use any fancy machinery or high-tech systems here. We just use our hands and some old scissors. Sometimes the delivery truck is late and we have to wait around, but that’s just life in this business. We’ve been at this location for a good while now. We know the other shop owners on the street and we all look out for each other. It’s a decent place to work. We just keep things moving and try to stay out of the way.
