In the middle of Malad West, there’s a place called Bombay Talkies Co, and that’s where you’ll find Gala No 175. That is where we run Rajesh Fabricators & Engineers. It’s a gritty spot, the kind of place where you’re always surrounded by the smell of cut metal and the sound of welding. Sakinaka and Sathyanagar are right nearby, so there is always some kind of industrial activity going on. We are located near the Mahavir Surgical Factory, which is a pretty big landmark for anyone trying to find our gate. The gala itself is a bit cramped, full of tools and unfinished pieces of metal leaning against the walls. It gets really hot in there during the summer months, especially when the machines have been running since eight in the morning. We don't have a fancy reception or even a proper sign out front, just the work being done. Most of the time, the floor is covered in metal shavings that we have to sweep up every evening. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. The neighbors are other small workshops, so nobody complains about the noise we make. It’s just the way things are in this part of Malad. You learn to talk loudly over the grinders. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, just keeping things moving one job at a time without any fuss.
