The shop is over here at 16 17 Vijaynagar Iscon Avenue in Dadar West. We spend most of our mornings getting things ready before the sun gets too high. It usually starts with cleaning the floor and checking the buckets. Being in Dadar West, there is always some noise from the street, but inside the shop, it stays a bit cooler because of the water we spray on the stems. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. Most people know the Iscon Avenue area, so finding us isn't too hard. We don't do much fancy stuff, just keep the flowers fresh and wait for whoever walks in. Sometimes it gets busy, especially when there are events nearby, and other times it is just us sitting here trimming leaves. The space at 16 17 isn't huge, but it fits what we need. We mostly focus on making sure nothing wilts too fast. It's a lot of manual work, lifting heavy crates and changing water every day so things don't smell. You get used to the damp feeling on your hands. We don't really have a big team, just a couple of us making sure things run. Every day feels pretty much the same, which is fine by us. We open early because that's when the fresh stock arrives from the market. If you are walking around Vijaynagar, you'll see us there by the corner. It's a simple business. We just do the work and go home.
