Rajani Travels

We are over here in Shop 3 at Raja Apartments, right across from the Dahisar station. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets. Everyone is always rushing for their trains. We’ve been here for a good while now. We just do our thing with travel bookings and all that stuff. It’s not a big fancy office. It is just a regular spot where people drop in to talk about where they are going. Sometimes it gets cramped. This happens when too many people come in at once, especially during the holiday seasons when everyone wants to leave the city. You can hear the announcements from the platform if the door is open. It usually is open because of the heat. We spend most of the day on the phones or looking at screens. We try to figure out schedules that actually work for people. It’s a lot of back and forth with different bus operators and airlines. We don't have a big staff. It's just a few of us here making sure the tickets get printed and the names are spelled right. It’s simple work. Still, it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. The tea guy comes around twice a day. That is usually when we take a small break. Most of our regulars live right here in the Hindu Colony. We see the same faces quite a bit. It’s just how we run things in this part of Dahisar.
