We operate Raja Rani Travels from the Anna Balwant Building over in Khetwadi. It is an old building, number 3, and we have been here for a long time. Our office is usually full of maps, papers, and files from all the trips we plan. People come in to ask about train tickets or bus routes, and we do our best to find something that works for them. Khetwadi is a crowded neighborhood, so there is always noise from the street coming through the windows. We spend a lot of time talking to hotels and transport people on the phone. Sometimes the lines are bad or things get confusing, but we just keep at it until it's sorted. It’s not a polished travel lounge like you see in the movies. It’s more of a working office where there's always a stack of paperwork on someone’s desk. We know a lot of the families around here who have been booking their holidays with us for years. We don't use any fancy software, just the stuff that works. The tea guy comes around a few times a day, and we usually take a break then. It’s a steady kind of job, helping people get from one place to another without too much trouble. We don't make big promises, we just try to get the bookings done right so people can go on their trips.
