Radix Microsystems

You’ll find us on the first floor of the Ghanshyam Industrial Estate, over in Andheri West. It’s just off Veera Desai Road, which is always packed. B/17 is our spot. It’s a typical industrial estate unit—solid walls, a bit of an old lift that we mostly avoid, and plenty of work. Radix Microsystems is where we spend our days messing with electronics and small systems. It’s detailed work, so you need a bit of patience. The air conditioning is always on because the equipment gets warm, and we’d probably melt too. It’s not a glamorous setup. We have workbenches piled with parts and tools. Sometimes it looks like a mess, but we know where everything is. Mostly. Andheri is a hub for everything, so there’s always a delivery guy coming or going. We don’t have a fancy showroom. If someone comes by, they’re usually here to talk about a specific project or to pick something up. We just get on with the job. It’s a lot of focus and sometimes long hours when a deadline is breathing down our necks. We aren't some big corporation with a handbook for everything. We just figure things out as they come. It’s a bit noisy from the street, but you get used to it after a few weeks. We’ve been in this unit for quite some time now, and it feels like home. We just keep our heads down, fix what needs fixing, and try to stay on top of the orders without overcomplicating things.
