Mahavir Computer

Our shop is up on the second floor of Ram Vihar at No. 24, over on Rokadia Lane in Borivali West. It’s a bit of a climb, but once you get here, you’ll see we have plenty going on. Mahavir Computer has been a fixture in this neighborhood for years. The space is packed with monitors, keyboards, and boxes of spare parts. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know exactly where everything is. We spend most of our time at the workbench with screwdrivers and soldering irons. People bring us their slow computers or laptops that won't turn on, and we do our best to get them working again. It’s just us here, no big corporate structure or fancy uniforms. We wear what’s comfortable and talk to our customers like neighbors because most of them are. Sometimes we sell a new mouse or a cable, but repairs are the main thing that keeps us busy. The street outside is usually loud with traffic, but it’s quieter up here on the second floor. We don't have a big advertising budget; word of mouth is usually how people hear about us. We just keep fixing what’s broken and selling what people need for their home offices. It’s a simple business and we like the independence of running our own small shop in Borivali. There is always a stack of paperwork on the corner desk that we need to get through.
