Prash Computers

Prash Computers is based out of No. 44 Tamarind Lane, inside Tamarind House. We are right opposite the Andhra Bank in Fort, so we are pretty easy to find if you’re in the area near Bombay House. The lane gets really narrow and crowded with people, especially during lunch hours. We’ve been fixing computers and helping people with their tech problems in this spot for a good while. Our shop is usually filled with old monitors, tangled cables, and piles of keyboards that need cleaning. It’s not the neatest place, but we know where everything is. Most days we are sitting behind a desk with a screwdriver in hand, trying to figure out why a laptop won’t turn on. We do not use a lot of big words or try to confuse people with tech talk. We just tell them what’s wrong and try to fix it. Being in Fort means we get all kinds of customers, from office workers to students. The air conditioning in here is a bit old and makes a humming noise, but it keeps us cool enough when the sun is beating down on Tamarind House. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just life in this part of the city. We drink a lot of tea while we work and listen to the sounds of the street outside. It’s a busy life, but we like being the local guys for help.
