R Tec

We are located down in South Mumbai, in the Navy Nagar area of Colaba. Our space is R30 11A. It’s a very specific part of the city, quite different from the rest of Mumbai because of all the greenery and the quiet roads. R Tec has been running from here for a while. It’s not a huge workshop, just enough space for our equipment and a couple of desks. Working in Navy Nagar means things are a bit more disciplined around here. You need to know the way because the lanes can look similar. We spend most of our time fixing things or looking at technical drawings. It’s a bit dusty because of the tools and parts we keep around. There’s no big sign for the business, just a small one near the door. We aren't corporate people. We just wear regular clothes and get to work. Sometimes we go out for tea at the small stalls nearby. The air is a bit saltier here because we are close to the coast. It’s a steady pace of work. We don't have a receptionist, so if someone knocks, one of us just gets up to answer. The walls are a bit bare, and the floor has some marks from moving heavy stuff around. It’s just a place where we get things done. We don't really bother with making it look pretty. It just works for us.
