Q Studio

Our spot is on the ground floor of Atria Mall, right where SV Road meets Dr. Annie Besant Road. Being in a mall is different from being on a regular street, but we’ve made it work. It’s a bit cleaner here, though the mall noise can be a lot on the weekends. We call it Q Studio, and we spend our days here working on various projects. People walking by often peek through the glass to see what’s going on inside. We don't mind. It’s a small space, so we have to be careful about where we put everything. Sometimes the lighting is a bit bright for my taste, but that’s just mall life. We don't really do the whole high-pressure sales thing. If someone wants to come in and ask a question, we’re happy to answer. It’s a bit of a commute for me to get here every morning, but I like the area. There’s a good coffee shop nearby that we frequent when we need a break. We keep our hours pretty steady based on when the mall opens and closes. It’s not a very complicated setup. We have our equipment, a couple of chairs, and our work. We just take it one day at a time and see who comes through the door. The mall security guards know us by name now since we’re here so often. Sometimes the air conditioning in the mall is a bit too cold, so we usually have sweaters hanging on the back of our chairs even when it's boiling outside.
