Pyare Mohan Store

Our store is located in Fort, specifically on 5th Main and 6th Cross at number 8-A. It’s an old building, and the shop has that classic feel to it. We sell a bit of everything, the kind of things you realize you need at the last minute. Pyare Mohan Store has been around for quite a while, and the wooden shelves are getting a bit worn at the edges. I spend most of my day sitting behind the counter watching the street. Fort is always busy, with people rushing to offices or tourists looking around, but our little corner is slightly tucked away. We stock snacks, household items, and some stationery. It’s a lot of inventory to keep track of in such a small space, so things are piled up pretty high. You have to know exactly where everything is or you’ll be searching for an hour. I try to keep it organized, but sometimes new deliveries arrive and the boxes sit in the aisle for a bit. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just walk in when they see the door open. It’s a simple way to make a living. I talk to the postman, the delivery guys, and the regulars who live in the apartments nearby. It’s dusty work sometimes, cleaning all those bottles and packets, but it’s my daily routine and I’m used to it now. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit but it keeps the air moving.
