Progressive Engineering Works

Progressive Engineering Works is tucked away at Unit No. 6, 22, and 28 in the Agarwal Industrial Estate. We’ve been operating out of Dahisar (E) for quite some time now. It’s a busy industrial pocket and we fit right in with the noise and the constant movement. Our workshop isn't a place for fancy suits or clean shoes. Most days, we are elbow-deep in machine parts and oil. We have these three units to keep everything organized, though some days it still feels a bit crowded. S.V. Road is right there, so getting materials in and out is usually okay, depending on the traffic. We don't have a marketing department writing catchy slogans for us. We just focus on the metal and the machines. Sometimes the power goes out or a tool breaks, and we just deal with it as it comes. It’s a practical way to live. We’ve got a small crew of guys who know their way around a lathe. We don't talk much about our vision or our philosophy. We just look at what needs fixing or making and we get to it. The floor is stained and the walls have seen better days, but that doesn't stop the work from getting done. People in Dahisar know where to find us if they need something engineered. We keep a pot of tea going and just keep the machines humming along until the day is over. It’s basic, honest work.
