Priti Leather Works

Priti Leather Works is situated at No. 13 Tilak Dham on Cama Road in Andheri West. It is a small workshop where we spend our days cutting and stitching leather. The whole place smells of animal hides, which is something you either like or you don't, but we don't mind it anymore. We are tucked away in Tilak Dham, and it is a bit of a tight squeeze with all the materials we keep in stock. Cama Road is always full of people, especially being in Andheri West, so it’s never quiet outside. Inside, we just focus on the leather pieces on our tables. We don’t have any modern machines; it’s mostly hand tools and some old sewing machines that have seen better days but still work. The staff at Priti Leather Works is just a handful of people who have been doing this for years. We don’t have any fancy brochures or a website to show off what we do. People mostly find out about us by walking past or hearing from someone else in the neighborhood. It is a very simple, old-fashioned way of running a business. We don't worry about being the biggest or the best; we just want to finish the work we have. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the weather while we work. It is just our little shop on Cama Road.
