Printpack Engineers

We are based at 5B/50 Mittal Industrial Estate in Andheri East, which is probably one of the busiest spots you could pick in Mumbai. The estate is always crowded with vans, workers, and people rushing around, so there’s never a dull moment. At Printpack Engineers, our space is filled with metal components, assembly kits, and various types of packaging machinery we are putting together. It’s a tight squeeze sometimes with all the parts lying around, but we manage to keep things organized enough to work. The humid Mumbai air means we have to be careful with the metal to keep it from rusting, so there’s a lot of oiling and wiping down involved. We are mostly engineers and mechanics here, so the conversation usually revolves around torque, speed, and how to make a machine run a bit smoother. We don't have a lot of time for formalities; if you come by, you’ll probably find us in our work clothes under a bright tube light. Dealing with the traffic in Andheri East is part of our daily life, often timing our deliveries for when the roads are a bit clearer. It’s a tough, fast-paced environment, but we’ve gotten used to the noise and the constant movement of the industrial estate. We just focus on building the machines properly and making sure every bolt is tightened before they leave the floor. It’s honest work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
