L. J. Hallen

L. J. Hallen is located at 275 Princess Bldg. on Princess St. and it has been our home for quite a while now. The building is one of those old ones with a lot of history and character even if the stairs are a bit narrow and creaky. Being on Princess St. means it is always busy outside with people rushing past and cars honking. Our office isn't anything fancy or modern. It is just a simple room where we keep our desks and all the paperwork that piles up. We don't have a big sign out front so you really have to look for the number 275 on the door to find us. It gets a bit warm in the afternoons but we just open the windows and let the breeze in from the street. The mail sometimes gets mixed up with the other offices in the building because there are so many of us here. We just go about our day and handle whatever needs doing. There is a small tea stall just around the corner that we visit every morning and the smell of ginger tea often drifts into the hallway. It is a very basic setup at L. J. Hallen but it works for us. We don't have much room for visitors to sit down so things stay pretty informal. It is just a practical place where we show up and get the work done without any fuss.
