Our place is Insight Business Machines Pvt Ltd and you can find us at A1/27 in the Greenfields area. It is right on the Jogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Road, which everyone just calls JVLR. If you’ve ever been on that road, you know the traffic is always a nightmare, especially during the monsoon when the potholes start showing up. We are in Andheri East, Mumbai 400093, which is a very busy industrial kind of neighborhood. The office is part of a larger complex, and we’ve been here long enough that the security guards don't even ask for our IDs anymore. Inside, it smells a bit like old paper and printer toner because we deal with a lot of hardware and machines. It’s not a quiet place because of the road noise, but we’ve gotten used to it. The desks are a bit crowded with spare parts and wires, and the lighting is that flickering fluorescent kind that makes your eyes tired by five o'clock. We don't have any fancy break rooms or coffee machines, just a kettle and some biscuits we keep in the drawer. People come in and out all day, usually looking for help with some piece of equipment that stopped working. We just do what needs to be done and try to beat the traffic on the way home. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do, nothing more and nothing less. We keep the machines running and the computers connected.
