Prakash Engineering Works

Our shop is tucked away in Chembur, specifically over at Manek Chowk, 32 A 94. If you know the area, it’s usually pretty crowded and noisy with all the traffic. We’ve been running things from here for a while, mostly dealing with metal parts, lathes, and whatever else needs fixing or making. It’s the kind of place where your hands stay dirty most of the day. We don’t have a big showroom or anything like that, just the workshop where the real work happens. Sometimes the machines are a bit loud, and we have to shout over them to hear each other. We take on whatever comes through the door, whether it’s a small part for a neighbor or something a bit bigger for a local business. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings by the afternoon. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in Chembur, just a reliable one where people can bring their engineering problems. It gets hot in the summer with all the machinery running, but we’re used to it by now. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but Manek Chowk still feels like home to us. Usually, we're just busy with the next task on the bench, making sure the measurements are right and the parts fit. It’s honest work, and we like it that way. We don't spend much time on the computer, mostly just working with our hands.
