If you find yourself near the Corporation Bank on Chembur Ab Road, you will probably see our place in Pandurang Bhavan. It is just a small office where we handle travel stuff for people in the neighborhood. We have been sitting at these same desks for a while now, booking bus tickets and looking up train schedules for families going on vacation. It isn't a very complicated business, but it keeps us busy with all the different routes and timings. Sometimes people come in just to ask about the best way to get to a town they haven't visited before, and we pull out the maps or check the latest updates on the computer. We deal with a lot of tours, mostly local ones where people want to see a bit of the country without spending a fortune. The office can get a bit crowded on Saturday mornings when everyone has time to come by and talk about their holiday plans. We have flyers and brochures all over the place, though half of them are probably out of date. It is just me and a couple of others here most days. We try to find the cheapest options because we know how it is with budgets. Chembur is a good spot for us since so many people live around here. It is just a regular local travel shop doing its thing day in and day out for the community.
