Prajapati Provision Store

We run this little shop at Shop No.12 on Bharat Nagar Street Road in Vikhroli East. It’s a typical provision store where we try to keep a bit of everything that families in the neighborhood might need for their kitchens and homes. From rice and flour to small snacks and cleaning stuff, it’s all packed in here. The space is tight, and sometimes it feels like the shelves are overflowing, but we know exactly where every single item is kept. Most of our customers are people who live just a few blocks away, so we see the same faces every morning and evening. It’s nice to know the names of the people who come in. We open up early so people can grab what they need before heading to work or taking the kids to school. Things can get a little hectic in the evenings when everyone is getting home, but we manage to get everyone served eventually. We don't have any big computer systems or fancy displays. We just use a basic ledger and keep an eye on what’s running low. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy bags and rearranging the jars, but it keeps us busy. Vikhroli is a crowded place, and our shop is just one small part of the community here. We just focus on having the basics ready and being open when people need us. It’s a simple life running a store like this, and we’re happy to be here on Bharat Nagar road.
