Our spot is over in Vile Parle East, right near the Hay Way Rose building. If you know the area, you know it gets pretty busy around Dixit Road. We are tucked into the Marwari Shivaji Chawl, which is a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes but it works for us. Prabha Outdoor Media is mostly about getting things up where people can see them. We spend a lot of time dealing with the outdoor signs and billboards you see around Mumbai. It’s physical work a lot of the time, not just sitting behind a desk. We’re often out checking on sites or talking to the guys who do the actual climbing and fixing. Being in this part of Mumbai means we are always in the thick of it. The office is pretty simple, just a place to keep the files and take some calls. It gets a bit noisy with the traffic nearby, but you get used to that after a week or two. We’ve been at this address for a while now, and the neighbors all know us. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we handle the day-to-day business of outdoor advertising. Sometimes the monsoons make things difficult for the hoardings, so those are our busiest months. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the posters look right when they go up.
