Prabha Engineering Works

We are located right near the bus stop on 8th Main, over in the 4th Block of the 3rd State area. Having the bus stop so close means there is always people walking by and a bit of noise from the bus engines throughout the day. Our workshop at number 22 N C P A is where we spend most of our daylight hours. It is an engineering shop, so you should expect to see metal shavings on the ground and the smell of oil in the air. We do not have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room with magazines. Usually, you will just find one of the guys wipes his hands on a rag before saying hello to you. We have been at this location for a good bit, and we have gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. The machines we use are old but they still run fine if you treat them right and keep them oiled. We do not do much advertising; most people just see the sign when they are waiting for their bus or walking to the market. It is a practical way to run a business. We focus on the metalwork and the repairs that people bring in. Sometimes we stay late when a job is being stubborn or a machine breaks down, but that is just part of the trade. It is honest work, and we do not try to make it sound more important than it is.
