Pooja Florist

Our shop is located at 15/17 in Bhuleshwar. If you know Bhuleshwar, you know how crowded and loud it can get. It is a place that never really seems to stop. We are right in the thick of it at Pooja Florist. The space we have is quite small, but that's typical for this area. We have to be smart about where we put every bucket and every bunch of flowers. Every morning starts with the sounds of the market waking up. We bring in our supplies and start the work of trimming stems and changing out old water. It is a very hands-on job. There is no desk work here; it’s all standing and moving. We don't try to look like a high-end boutique. We are just a local shop in a busy market. The humidity and the heat can be a challenge, so we are always spraying water to keep things cool. We see all kinds of people passing by 15/17 every single day. Some are in a hurry and some stop to chat. We just keep our heads down and focus on the flowers. It’s a lot of work to keep things fresh in such a busy environment, but we’ve gotten used to the pace of Bhuleshwar over the years. It’s just our daily life here, and we don't think much more of it than that. We just sell what we have and start over again the next day.
