Our office is over in Navi Mumbai, specifically at Sicily Park in Sector 12, Koper Khairane. We are in unit A-402, which is high enough to get a bit of a breeze during the hot months. Managing events and incentives is mostly just a lot of phone calls and making endless lists. We spend our days trying to make sure everyone else has a good time or gets their rewards on time. It gets pretty hectic during the festival seasons. The office is often full of boxes and samples of things we are sending out to clients. We don’t have a big fancy reception area. Most of the time, the desks are covered in sticky notes and half-drunk cups of tea. We’ve been in this part of Maharashtra for a while and we know the local vendors pretty well. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication on the phone. Sometimes things go wrong, like a delivery is late or a venue has a major problem, and we just have to fix it on the fly. It’s not a glamorous job, despite what people might think about the event industry. It’s mostly just hard work and staying as organized as possible. We like being in Koper Khairane because it’s a bit more relaxed than the main part of the city. We just keep our heads down and focus on the next event on the calendar and hope for the best.
