Pintex (Engineers)

Our place is called Seagull House and it sits right on the Andheri Kurla Road. If you are driving by, we are diagonally opposite the Guru Nanak Petrol Pump. Anyone who knows Andheri East knows how busy this road gets. Pintex (Engineers) has been based here for a long while. It’s a very active spot. We can hear the traffic and the horns all day long, but that’s just Mumbai for you. The office is functional. We aren't trying to impress anyone with expensive furniture or modern art on the walls. We just have what we need to get the engineering work done. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we have a bit of a routine going. We have our tea breaks and then get back to the drawings or the paperwork. Being near the petrol pump is actually quite helpful when we have to tell people how to find us. Just tell them to look for the pump and then look across the street. We deal with a lot of people coming and going because of our location. It’s a bit cramped sometimes with all the files and equipment, but we make it work. It feels like a place where things actually get built or designed. We don't spend much time on fancy speeches; we just stay busy with the tasks at hand. It's a bit dusty from the main road, but we don't mind it too much since we're busy anyway.
