PINAL BUILDCON LLP

Nagdevi Street is one of those old Mumbai areas where everything is crowded and full of hardware shops. Our office is on the 12th floor of Plot No 64/66. It’s a bit of a trek to get here through the narrow lanes. Office 1201 is where we sit and figure out the buildcon stuff. The building is old but we like it. You can hear the noise from the street even all the way up here. We have stacks of papers everywhere. It’s just the way we work. There’s a lot of history in this part of Mumbai. We see the same faces every day at the tea stall downstairs. It's a very practical location for us because all the hardware we might need for projects is right outside the door. The office is pretty simple, with some filing cabinets and a few desks pushed against the walls. We have a lot of samples of building materials lying around, like tiles and pieces of metal. It makes the place look a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. The air conditioning works okay, but on really hot days, it struggles a bit. We spend a lot of our time on the phone talking to suppliers or checking on project timelines. There isn't much in the way of decoration, maybe just an old photo of the city on one wall. The light from the window is quite bright in the afternoons. We usually have some biscuits and tea around four o'clock.
