Our office is located at 2/10 Dipti on Hanuman Road. Being in Vile Parle means we are always surrounded by the noise of Mumbai, which you just get used to after a while. We are an architecture firm, but we do not spend all our time looking at fancy magazines. Mostly, we are just figuring out how to make things fit and talking to contractors who are usually in a hurry. The office is small but it works for us. We have got our computers set up and there are always too many coffee mugs sitting around. It is a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens sometimes. Hanuman Road is a busy stretch, so there is always someone coming or going. We have been doing this work for quite a while now. We just focus on the drawings and the site visits that take up most of our week. It is not always exciting, but it is what we do. The rain in Mumbai can make things tricky when we need to go out to a site, but we just grab an umbrella and head out anyway. We are not trying to be anything big or corporate, just a group of people working in a room in Vile Parle. It gets the job done and we keep at it day after day. The space is a bit cramped with all the files, but it feels like home.
