Ms Architect Lokhandwala

Our office is tucked away in Goregaon, Mumbai, right near Chawl No. 88 in Motilal Nagar 2. It’s on M. G. Road, which most people around here know pretty well. Ms Architect Lokhandwala is a small place where we handle all sorts of architectural tasks. Working in this part of Mumbai means things are always a bit crowded and fast-moving. We have been at this address for a while now, and it feels like home. The space is filled with rolls of drawings and old files from past jobs. We don’t have a receptionist or a big lobby; it’s just the work area where the designing happens. We spend our time figuring out how to make buildings work in the city's tight spaces. Maharashtra has its own way of doing things, and we follow the rules and do the math. Sometimes the rain makes it hard to get to site visits, but that’s just life in Mumbai. We see a lot of people walking by on M.G. Road every day. It’s a practical office for practical work. We aren't doing anything fancy for the sake of it. Just drawing up what’s needed and making sure the layouts make sense. If you come by Goregaon, you’ll find us easily enough near the chawls. It’s a modest setup but it works for us and the people we help with their building plans. We just keep at it and hope the traffic isn't too bad.
