You can find Pickle N Chill Private Limited over at Essar House on K.K. Marg. Mahalaxmi is a busy part of Mumbai, and being here puts us right in the middle of everything. We focus on pickles and things that go with them, which is where the name comes from. It started out as a small idea and grew into this business. Our office is a place where we plan out our batches and figure out where the next jars are going. It’s not a very big operation, but we stay busy. The area around Mahalaxmi is old and has a lot of character, which we like. We spend a lot of time talking to suppliers and checking on the fermenting process. It’s not always easy, especially when the weather gets humid, but that is just part of the pickle business. We don’t use any fancy machinery for everything; a lot of it is still done the old way. Sometimes the smell of vinegar is really strong in the office, but we don't mind it anymore. We are just a group of people who enjoy what we do. We aren't trying to change the world, just making sure people have something good to eat with their meals. The building is easy to find, and we’ve been here long enough that the guards know us by name. It’s a good setup for our daily work and we stay focused on our jars.
