P.G.Patki Architects, Mumbai

We are based over at D:4, 2/1 in the New Green Valley Society. It’s in Sector 8B of CBD Belapur, which is a part of Navi Mumbai that a lot of people are still getting used to. Our office is a quiet spot, tucked away from the main noise of the city. We’ve been operating as architects here for quite some time now. The address says 600416, which sometimes confuses people because they think it’s a different city, but we are definitely right here in Navi Mumbai. Our workspace is pretty lived-in. We have shelves full of old project files and rolls of tracing paper that have been there for years. It’s a working environment, so there are always half-empty cups of tea and open reference books on the tables. We handle the usual architectural drawings, site inspections, and planning permissions. It’s not a glamorous life, mostly just a lot of technical work and making sure the math adds up. We don’t do the whole polished corporate routine. If you come by, you’ll probably find us arguing over a structural detail or trying to figure out a tricky layout. We like being in Belapur because it’s a bit more manageable than the heart of Mumbai. We just put in the hours, do our drawings, and try to keep our projects moving along without too much fuss. It’s honest work, and we just take it one day at a time.
