Persian Indigo

Our place is in the Lavender Bough Building, right on 90 Feet Road in Ghatkopar East. We are located next to the Swami Narayan Temple, which is a big landmark around here. Because of the temple, the street gets really busy on certain days of the week with devotees. We have to spend a lot of time keeping the front area tidy because of all the dust that blows in from the road. Inside, it’s a bit more relaxed, but there is always something to do. We spend a lot of time checking the stock in the pantry and making sure the furniture is in good shape for the guests. The building itself is well-known in the 400075 area. We aren't a massive chain or anything like that, just a local business trying to keep things running smoothly. Some days the plumbing acts up or a light fixture burns out in the back, and we have to fix it ourselves with a ladder. It’s not always pretty, but it’s real work. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just want to make sure the place is open on time and everything is ready for whoever walks through the door. The 90 Feet Road has a lot of energy, and we feel like a part of that local community. We mostly just focus on the daily tasks like mopping the floors and taking delivery of supplies. It’s a simple life running a business in Ghatkopar.
