If you are looking for us, we are at D-26 in Adivashi Pada. It’s tucked behind the J.B. Savant Bus Stop on Road No. 21 in Wagle Estate. Finding it can be a bit tricky the first time because of all the small lanes. The bus stop is the best landmark to use. The workshop stays pretty loud because of the press tools. You get used to the rhythmic thumping after a while. I’ve been working here long enough that I don’t even hear it anymore. We don't have a glossy brochure or a website with big pictures. We just have our machines and the work we produce. Wagle Estate is a busy place, and there is always someone moving something heavy down the street. Our unit isn't the biggest, but we make use of every square inch. I usually have grease under my fingernails and a bit of a sweat on my brow. It is hard work, but it’s honest. We don’t try to act like we are some big corporation. We are just a local shop making tools for other businesses. Sometimes customers come in just to chat for a bit before they pick up their orders. We know most of the people who live in Adivashi Pada. It feels like a community here. We just do our best to finish the jobs and keep the machines running.
