Pelican Engineers

Pelican Engineers is based out of unit 213 in the Daulat Indl. Estate, which is located in the Wadavali area of Chembur. Being in an industrial estate in Mumbai means things are always a bit cramped and very busy. There are trucks constantly loading and unloading in the narrow lanes between the buildings, and there’s a general sense of hustle all around us. Our unit isn't very large, so we have to be smart about how we stack our materials and where we place our benches. We mostly deal with technical and engineering tasks that require a lot of focus, even with all the noise from the neighbors in the estate. The Barla Society is nearby, so the area has a mix of residential and industrial vibes. We spend most of our day under tube lights, working on various parts and pieces. It’s a bit of a maze to find us if you’ve never been to Daulat Indl. Estate before, but once you’re here, you’ll see we’re just a group of people working hard. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate logos on every wall. It’s just a practical workspace with a few fans to keep the Mumbai humidity moving. We take our breaks when we can, usually heading out to the main road for a quick snack or some tea. It’s a tough environment sometimes, but it’s where we belong and where we get our work done every day.
