We are based on the ground floor of Currimbhoy Manor, which is unit Gf/5. The building is at 41-B, Desai Road in Mumbai, 400026. This part of the city is always moving, and being on the ground floor means we see everyone passing by. Logistics is a busy field. We have been in this office for a long time, and the walls are covered with maps and old schedules. It is not a modern office with glass walls; it is more of a traditional space with heavy doors and old-style windows. We spend our days tracking shipments and talking to people at the docks or the warehouses. It is a lot of coordination and sometimes it gets a bit stressful when a truck is late. We have a few big desks and some metal filing cabinets that have been here forever. The traffic on Desai Road is pretty much constant, so there is always a background hum of engines. We don't have a fancy coffee machine, just a kettle and some milk packets. We don't spend time writing down big visions or missions. We just make sure the goods get to where they are supposed to be. It is a lot of paperwork and phone calls. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult, but we just keep going. It is a very practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We just do our work and go home.
