Patani Tours

So, Patani Tours is tucked away at 84/14 on Matunga Drive In Road. The building is called Haresh Ketan. If you’ve ever walked around Matunga, you know it’s a neighborhood that has a very specific feel to it. We’ve got the old trees and the smells of South Indian coffee from the cafes nearby. Our office is small, just enough room for a couple of desks and some chairs for people to sit while we talk. We have some old posters on the walls that have probably faded a bit over the years. It’s nothing like those big travel agencies you see in the malls. We’re just local people who know the roads and the trains. Most of our day is spent on the phone or looking at schedules. It gets pretty busy during the holiday seasons, and the tiny office starts feeling even smaller when there are three or four people waiting. We like the location because it’s easy for people to drop by after they finish their shopping or errands. There’s a guy who sells tea right outside and we probably keep him in business with how many cups we drink. The building itself has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and it’s where we feel comfortable. We don’t have a website that does everything for you; we prefer just talking to people face to face. We have been in this same spot for a while now and don't plan on moving.
