Passap

Our place, Passap, is tucked away on Sir P M Road, right across from High L Juhu Ashapura Heritage Co-Operative Housing Society. Juhu is a busy part of Mumbai, as everyone knows, but our specific street has its own rhythm. The building we are in has that old cooperative housing society feel to it, which is quite common in this part of town. We spend our days managing things from this office, looking out at the Juhu traffic and the people heading towards the beach or the shops. The 400049 pin code is a famous one, but for us, it’s just where we work every day. It gets quite humid here during the monsoon, and the salt air from the sea is always around. We don’t have a big corporate team or anything like that. It’s just us doing our jobs and making sure things are handled properly. Sometimes the noise from the road is a lot, but you get used to the sounds of Mumbai after a few weeks. We have been here long enough that the local delivery guys and the neighbors know us by name. We just focus on the task at hand and try to keep the place organized. It’s a small operation but it keeps us on our toes throughout the week. No fluff, just work. We like the history of the heritage society nearby, it gives the area some character. We just keep our heads down and get through the list.
