Parshwa Travels

We run everything out of Room No 560 in Building No 19. It’s located in Ghatkopar East on Bhawani Shankar Road. It’s not a big office at all, just a desk and a few chairs where we handle all the travel bookings for the day. Being on the fifth floor means we see a lot of people coming up and down the stairs all the time. We deal with bus tickets and car bookings for long trips mostly. The neighborhood around here is always active and full of noise. I spend most of my day answering the phone and checking the timings for different travel routes. It’s a small operation. We don’t have a website that does everything automatically; we mostly do it ourselves using the phone and notebooks. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing for hours and other times it's completely quiet in the room. We’ve lived and worked in Ghatkopar for a long time now. People from the nearby buildings usually just walk in when they need to plan a trip for their family. It gets a bit stuffy in the room when more than two people are visiting us. We have some old maps pinned to the wall, though we know most of the roads by heart at this point. There’s no big neon sign outside, just our name painted on the door. We try to keep our records straight so no one misses their ride. It’s just basic, everyday work.
