Parivar Cream N Chat

Over in Kanjurmarg East, specifically at 2nd Block E-6, that is where Parivar Cream N Chat is located. We have been here for a while now. The shop is divided into two parts, one side for the cold stuff and the other for the snacks. The big freezer makes a humming noise that you eventually stop noticing after an hour or so. We make sure the chat ingredients are prepped before the evening rush starts. The tamarind sauce takes a long time to get right. We have a few tables inside but they are small. Families often come by after dinner for a treat. The kids usually make a mess with the ice cream and we have to mop the floor quite often. The lighting inside is a bit bright, maybe too bright, but it helps us see what we are doing. We keep the spoons in a glass jar on the counter. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to move everything to the back generator quickly. It's a bit of a hassle but we manage. My cousin helps me out on the weekends when it gets really crowded. We don't do any advertising or anything like that. People just know we are here. It's a decent spot and we like the people who live around here. We usually stay open until the last person finishes their bowl.
