Our office for PAREKH DEVELOPERS & REALTY LLP is on Road No. 29, right across from Nehru Garden in Sion East. We are tucked away in the S.K. Kabur Compound on the industrial road, specifically at Plot No. 190/A. It is an older area with a lot of character, though it gets quite noisy with all the industrial activity nearby. The garden across the street is a nice touch, giving us a bit of green to look at during the day. We have been working out of this spot for quite some time now. Our setup is very basic, just some desks and old filing cabinets filled with property papers and maps. We don’t go for the corporate look at all; it’s just not our style. Most of our day is spent talking to people about land and buildings, which involves a huge amount of paperwork and sitting in traffic. Mumbai is a tough place to get around, but being in Sion East makes it a bit easier to reach different parts of the city. We don’t have a fancy mission statement or a team of people trying to sell you something. We just handle the reality and development side of things as best as we can. It’s often a lot of stress and long hours, but we like seeing projects actually get finished. We are just regular people working in a busy compound.
