Parees Events

Parees Events is located at 1/14, Contractor Bldg, on the 2nd Dubhash Lane off V P Road in Girgaon. We are quite near Sikka Nagar. Girgaon is one of those old Mumbai neighborhoods where the lanes are narrow and the buildings have a lot of history. Our office is inside one of these old structures. It has high ceilings and wooden floors that creak when you walk. We’ve been here for a while, and the walls are covered with old calendars and notes. It’s a small team here. We don’t have a big corporate structure or fancy titles. Most of the time, we are out on the field, so the office is often empty except for the landline ringing. When we are in, it’s a lot of paperwork and planning on scraps of paper. We do events because we like the energy of it. It’s not a glamorous job like people think; there’s a lot of dust and heavy lifting involved. Sometimes we get stuck in the monsoon rain and everything gets delayed. We just deal with it. The neighborhood knows us, and we know the local chai wallah. We don't use big words to describe our work. We just show up, set things up, and make sure it happens. It is a bit of a struggle sometimes, but that is just how business goes in this part of Mumbai. We are just regular people working hard.
