Paras Engineering Works

If you find yourself on Nivetia Road in Malad East, you can find our workshop at number 78 in the Ishwarlal Compound. It’s an old-school industrial area, so don’t expect anything shiny or new. We’ve been here at Paras Engineering Works for quite some time, dealing with metal, machines, and a fair bit of grease. The compound is full of other small workshops, so there is always the sound of hammering or grinding going on in the background. Our space is filled with tools and parts that we’ve collected over the years. It looks a bit messy to an outsider, but we know exactly where every wrench and bolt is kept. We don't have a front office or a receptionist; you just walk in and talk to whoever is working on the machines. It’s honest, hard work that happens here every day. The heat can get pretty bad in the afternoons under the tin roof, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. We aren't interested in fancy business talk or looking corporate. We just focus on fixing things and making parts that actually work. Most of our clients have been coming to us for years because they know we’re just a regular shop in an old compound doing what we know how to do. It’s a bit gritty and loud, but that’s just how engineering work goes in a place like Malad.
