Paras Bags

Finding us can be a bit of a challenge if you don’t know the area. We’re tucked away behind Building No. 127 in Pant Nagar, right in the Jain Mander Compound. It’s near Gaunshankar Wadi No. 1 in Ghatkopar East. The workspace is filled with the smell of materials and the sound of sewing machines. We spend our time working on all sorts of bags. There are heaps of fabric and zippers everywhere you look. It’s a bit chaotic, but we know where everything is. This isn't a fancy boutique. It’s a place where work actually happens. We started here because the community is tight-knit and it felt like a good spot to set up. Most of our neighbors are small businesses too. We see the same faces every morning when we open the shutters. Sometimes we sit outside for a bit when the sun isn't too hot. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. People just know us for the work we do. If a strap breaks or a zipper gets stuck, people bring their bags to us. We’ve been at this for a long time. The space is a bit old, but it’s home to us. It’s just a group of people working with their hands. That’s really all there is to Paras Bags. We don't worry about being fancy, we just worry about making sure the stitching is strong enough for someone’s daily use.
