Paradise Flowers

We are situated in the Sunrise Building on Linking Road in Andheri. It's a very busy spot, right near the McDonald’s and the Archies gallery, so there’s always music and people talking nearby. Being in the Neel Nandhini section of the building gives us a bit of a view of the street. We spend most of our time inside the shop, keeping the temperature right so the blooms don't fade. It’s a lot of back-and-forth, going from the storage area to the front counter. Linking Road is famous for shopping, so we get a lot of people just walking by and looking in. We don't do anything too corporate here. We just put the flowers in the vases and try to keep everything looking neat. Some days are slow, and we spend those hours cleaning the glass or tidying up the back room. Other days are so busy we can’t keep up with the trash. The boxes pile up in the corner until we can take them out at night. We’ve gotten to know the security guards and the other shopkeepers around here. It feels like a little community, even with all the noise of Andheri. We try to be honest about what we have in stock. If something isn't fresh, we don't put it out. It’s a straightforward way to run things. We’ve been at this location for a while now, watching the brands around us change.
