Papillon Houses Of Flowers

We are located over in the Tranquility Building, which is right near the Lokhandwala Complex area in Andheri. It’s funny because the building is called Tranquility but Premjit Market is anything but quiet. There is always someone shouting or a bike honking right outside our door at number 4. We’ve been here at Papillon Houses Of Flowers for a good while. The name sounds a bit fancy, like a butterfly, but inside it’s just a lot of buckets and wet floors. Andheri gets so crowded in the evenings that sometimes I can barely see the street from the window. We spend a lot of time just trimming stems and making sure everything looks decent for whoever walks in. It’s not a corporate setup at all. We have a leaky tap in the back that we’ve been meaning to fix for months, but we just put a plastic bucket under it. My cousin helps out when it gets busy, especially around the festival times when everyone wants something for their home. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just open the shutters early, get the fresh stock from the wholesalers, and hope the electricity doesn’t go out. It’s a simple life here in the market. Most of our neighbors know us by name, and we know which flowers they like without them even asking.
